Well I am the same weight today which is okay. I know that my losses will be small since I don't have a lot to lose but I was really hoping for 130 today!! I ate good yesterday and today as well. My boys wanted McDonalds and it smelled delicious but I didn't eat any of it. I REALLY wanted some though! I ate half of a grapefruit for breakfast and used a packet of splenda on it. I grabbed my water and we headed out to the grocery stores again :) We went to Sams and I bought my santa fe wheat tortillas that aren't exactly on the protocol but have really good numbers. We bought some more broccoli, cucumbers, and apples. We then went to Wal-Mart and I bought a coffee maker so that I will have one at home. I used to not be a coffee drinker but coffee really helps me in the morning!! It is on protocol and tastes delicious with some splenda and stevia in it. For lunch today, I ate a mesquite grilled chicken breast (from Sam's) with some broccoli. I am going to make chili tonight for dinner and eat some of my melba toast with it. I am going to try to skip my second fruit if I can :) My stomach has been upset today and I don't know if it is the new coffee I made or just the diet change.

Now time to drink more water!!

I am down almost half of a pound today!! Just two pounds away from the 120's and it has been a long time since I have seen those. I hope it continues. It seems like a dream come true that the weight is coming off so fast!! I am still fighting the emotional hunger but only when I am sitting around the house :) Today I ate my apple around 10 a.m. and then we went grocery shopping. We went to Dillions and Harter House and found some great deals! Tomorrow we are going to Sams Club to get some of the Santa Fe wheat tortillas for me and my co-worker who is also doing the diet. I am hooked on my melba toast and bought some more at the Harter House. My hubby wasn't thrilled with them so that means more for me!! For lunch, I had chicken fajita meat and a salad with my balsamic vinegar spray dressing. Tonight, I am going to have one of my filet mignon steaks without the delicious bacon wrapped around it. I am going to eat broccoli with it and then tonight I am going to drink one of my protein cappacinos instead of my second fruit.

We bought lots of apples, strawberries, and grapefruit so that we have plenty of fruit. Our losses have been smaller due to eating oranges so we are going to switch it up. (Both hubby and I are doing the diet).

Maybe 129 tomorrow??

Okay, I am now on my fifth day of the very low calorie diet (VLCD) and today my loss was not as big. I only lost 0.2 lbs this morning. However, so far this week I have lost 4 pounds total which I could have never done in a week!! Once my body gets around 130-131, it NEVER wants to go down into the 120's. But, I am going to get there with my hcg injections and my diet. I brought some apple slices to eat for breakfast and my favorite dish for lunch of steamed broccoli and 4 oz of fajita chicken. For dinner I think I will have one of the steaks that I cooked last night. I was bad about drinking my water yesterday and I know that contributed to my small weight loss. It is so important to drink 8-10 glasses of water every day on this diet, or any diet for that matter!! I am learning more about my hcg diet every day and this weekend I am going to start making some of the recipes out of the hcg diet recipe book. One of my co-workers made the barbecue sauce and it smells delicious!!

Today I lost 1.2 pounds and I am so happy!! I weighed early in the morning before work and then did my shot right away. It had been stinging a little so I read on the hcg diet forums to put the shot under your armpit for about 10 minutes to warm it up because it is the cold hcg that makes it sting. When I did this, it did not sting at all so I was happy!! For breakfast, I had coffee and my water. I am not normally a coffee drinker but the coffee with splenda or stevia does a great job of keeping me full! For my morning fruit, I had my two bags of apple slices. For lunch I had 4 oz's of fajita chicken meat and 1 cup of broccoli. I am in love with steamed broccoli! With the right seasonings, it can be very good. I like it tender as well. Since I had class that night, I went to the salad bar at Dillions and got a salad, just spinach leaves and cucumbers, and 4 oz of fresh chicken. I could not even eat it all. For my second fruit, I had an orange. I am so happy with my progress so far!

I feel great today. I swear that a side effect of the HCG injections is increased focus and attention. I did two graduate assignments last night and had complete focus. It is amazing how a good diet can make you feel really good. I felt horrible during my load days after eating all of those Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Today I am drinking my coffee for breakfast with chocolate stevia drops in it. It is delicious. I am also drinking my water. I brought a 4 oz chicken breast and broccoli for lunch which is on the protocol. Tonight I have class so I am going to stop at the salad bar at Dillions and get a salad with chicken and vinegar for the dressing. Mixing vegetables is not on the protocol but I am going to add a few slices of cucumbers and cherry tomotoes. I get my fruit tonight so I am excited. I have apple slices for lunch and I will eat an orange for dinner. I feel good that I have lost all of the loading weight already!! Just wait, 120's here I come. Only 2.8 pounds away!!

VLCD Day 2

That dreaded 135 is back on my scale. I hate that number. I finally was back down to 132 but the loading days put me back up. Oh well, I know that it will come off fast with my VLCD and hcg injections. I can't wait!! Today I drank coffee and water for breakfast. Then for lunch, I had what I thought was beef sirloin roast until a co-worker pointed out that it was pork sirloin roast. Pork is not on the protocol!! I looked it up and it was 173 calories and 8 grams of fat for 3 ounces. Luckily it still only put me at 350 calories for the day so I have 150 calories left for dinner and I will skip my second fruit tonight. Since I am so early into my VLCD, it should not hurt me with the higher fat content. For dinner, I am thinking of having eggs (one egg and three egg whites) or a chicken breast. I need to look at the rest of my meats and make sure that they are not pork!! I always thought that beef steaks were higher in fat but I guess not :( Anyways, I am excited to weigh in tomorrow and see where I am at. I have drank all 8 glasses of water today so that is a great thing!

VLCD Day 1

Starting weight 132.8

Today was the first day of my VLCD (very low calorie diet) of 500 calories. My hcg injection went well this morning. I didn't even know it was in my skin until I looked down. I am giving the injections in my stomach because I have the most fat there. It felt very different today to not eat as much. I wasn't hungry but I kept thinking that I needed to eat something. For breakfast, I followed the protocol and only had coffee with some English Toffee stevia in it. I also hit my water very hard and drank that. For lunch I had a 4 oz mesquite grilled chicken breast from Sam's and a salad with Balsamic Vinagrette spray dressing. I didn't realize that the spray had oil in it, which I cannot have, or high fructose corn syrup. I only put 5 sprays on my salad. I also had half of an apple because I could not bring myself to eat an entire apple. I bought the presliced apples in baggies from Sam's. For dinner, I had a 4 oz beef sirloin tip with steamed broccolli. It was so good that I wiped the plate clean!! Tonight, I will have my orange and that is it. I am right at 500 calories according to my Loseit app on my Iphone. I am going to weigh in tomorrow and see what I am after loading two days and then one day of the VLCD!!
