Okay, so I am now 4 weeks 4 days pregnant (4w4d)and so excited. Today is my third day of not taking my hcg injection. I did another pregnancy test, and my positive line was even darker than two days ago. On Friday, I had a faint positive line. When you are pregnant, hcg is supposed to double every two days and make the line even darker. So today, I did another pregnancy test (same brand) and the positive line was much darker. Yes!! I felt bad at first because some of the people on the HCG forums thought the hcg was giving me the positive line but all of my tests were negative until the day of my missed period and now that the line is getting even darker even though I am three days off of the shots, I am feeling great about it! I have had some morning sickness this morning. I was up 1 pound this morning and I don't know why. I did the three days after my last shot of low calories and yesterday I was so sick to my stomach that I didn't eat very much. However, I didn't drink enough water so I am hitting it hard today. For breakfast, I had a Kashi bar and then for lunch I am going to have skillet squash that I made and a 3 oz steak. I am so unsure of what to eat today? Do I eat cheese? I may grab a cheesestick and eat my chicken and salsa tonight!

Okay, so I am still in shock that I am finally pregnant again! We have been trying over a year to have our third child! I wonder if the hcg helped? The first month that I start the hcg diet, I am pregnant!! I am still losing weight though and have lost 1.2 pounds since finding out I was pregnant. Today I am at my lowest weight again of 126.8. I ate around 850 calories yesterday and stopped my shots yesterday. If feels wierd not to go in the fridge and get my hcg shot but I know my body is making its own hcg. The first trimester, it said that pregnant women burn an extra 300 calories and should not gain weight. I never usually gain weight in the first trimester and now it looks like I am losing. I am still taking my prenatal vitamin. Yesterday, I ate my Kashi Double Chocolate Cherry bar for breakfast and had cabbage and grilled chicken breasts with salsa for lunch. For dinner, I took my boys to Chick-fil-a and I had their Chargrilled Chicken with Fruit Salad with no dressing but I did add the granola. I am always down when I eat fruit and chicken salads!! I was the same way with the one at Panera!! I am up early because we are going to look at a basement home today and my DH is already shopping for bunk beds for the boys. I hope they like sharing a room!!

VLCD Day 25

Weight: 127 pounds (-1.0)

I was down a pound today! I am so excited. 127 sounds so much better than my higher weight of 135. I feel better and my clothes are actually lose now so maybe I will be in size 4's at every store and not just the Tommy Hilfiger outlet!! My size 6's are falling off. Yesterday, I ate a Kashi bar double chocolate coconut and it was delicious!! For lunch I had a grilled chicken breast and some fajita chicken meat so I had about 6 ounces of chicken. I went over because I am not supposed to eat more than 4 ounces. Oh well, at least it was protein!! For dinner, I had a 3 oz steak and some broccoli and it was delicious. All of that and I was down a pound!

HOWEVER, I am going to have to take a break from the hcg diet. I hate it because I have lost so much weight but I am now making my own hcg :) I am expecting, no wonder I am losing so much!! Wish me luck and I hope that my pregnancy is healthy. I am going to keep this blog updated now with my pregnancy info!!

My body loves 128.0! TOM is getting ready to start soon (most likely) because I have been bloated and feeling hungry! I always feel really hungry before TOM starts. I made a bunch of more cabbage tonight and some more steaks. I put 5 large frozen chicken breasts in my crockpot and poured a huge jar of salsa over them with one cup water and cooked them on low for 8 hours. It is like shredded chicken! It was delicious!I did eat to many melba toasts last night and I think that is why I was up. I ate around 750 calories and I have been losing around 700 calories or less. I will do better today. Only two shortbread cookies today and one serving of melba toast!!

I am down today and very excited. 127.6!! Almost to the 126.8 on day 20 which has been my lowest so far. Today I drank a protein shake for breakfast. I bought some more shortbread cookies from my co-worker who is selling girl scout cookies. They are great and just 4 of them is 120 calories. I have been having 4 every day and losing weight. Since I increased my calories to 700, I have finally been losing!! I brought some cabbage for lunch along with my mesquite grilled chicken breast. I am going to have my hubby buy some more cabbage so that I can boil it. I love it!! For dinner, I am going to have my steak and broccoli. I can't wait to see what the scale says tomorrow. Hopefully 126!!

I knew that such a big loss was probably due to water but at least I stabilized at 128, which is 1.2 less than the 129 that I was stuck at for two days. I am very happy with 128 and still only 8 pounds from 120!! I also think that I went up some because last night we went to see Avatar and I was starving and ate one cup of the popcorn. It was delicious!! My son and boys ate two tubs of it so at least I didn't eat that much! Today I drank a protein shake again for breakfast. I ate chicken fajita meat and broccoli for lunch along with 100 calorie serving of melba toast. My snack will be one shortbread cookie (30 calories) and tonight I am going to eat cabbage and steak.

Wow, today I was down almost 3 pounds to 126.8!! I swear that the Fuji Apple with Chicken Salad at Panera Bread always helps me lose. Last time I ate it, I lost two pounds and now I have lost almost 3 pounds after eating it again. I am so close to my goal weight of 120!! Today, I am going to drink a protein shake for breakfast again and then for lunch, eat my chicken breast and tomatoes with a wheat tortilla from Dillons. They are only 60 caloreis!! For dinner, I might eat some chili or a steak. Since I cut out the fruits and added the protein shake for breakfast, I have been very successful. It is slightly off protocol but I believe that sometimes it has to be changed in order to fit your individual body. I have finally found something that works for me!!

Well I am happy that I am still in the 120's!! I just wish it was 120 and not 129 so I have a little room for snacking :) Today I wasn't feeling well so it has been hard not to overeat. I always want to eat when I am sick. For breakfast, I had a protein shake and put some stevia in it. It didn't taste the best but since I made it, I drank it! For lunch, we had a meeting at work so we went to Panera Bread. I had a half of the Fuji Apple with Chicken Salad (250 calories) and had veggie soup but I only ate a few bites of it. I had one bite of the bread that came with it. At the meeting, I ate one sugar cookie, which I figured to be 50 calories, and then came home and ate one Girl Scout shortbread cookie (30 calories) and one wheat tortilla (60 calories from Dillions. Right now I am at 490 calories so for dinner, I am only going to eat a chicken breast. For the last few days, I have been eating around 600-700 calories and losing well and today I should end the day at 600 calories. No more cookies for me tonight!! Hope to see 127 tomorrow!! My final goal is 120 with no belly!!

I finally did it!! I broke into the 120's! AND I went off of protocol yesterday. Here is what I had:

Breakfast: Jay Robb protein shake (mixed with water and one TBSP milk)
Lunch: Grilled chicken breast, broccoli, one 100 calorie bag of Daisy Go Round cookies (girl scout cookies)
Dinner: Garden Vegetable cup of soup, Fuji Apple Salad with Chicken (half order) from Panera Bread

I cut out all of the fruit except for the apples in my salad. I have never lost with fruit and I wanted to try a more protein day with the protein shake instead. My salad from Panera Bread was delicious and I even ate half of the pecans on the salad. I drank plenty of water and plenty of diet soda yesterday :) I also took the hcg drops before I went to bed. Adding the extra hcg drops before bedtime has really helped! My husband is doing the drops every night. Yesterday he ate a whole sleeve of peanut butter girl scout cookies and 3 slices of meat lovers pizza and was down 2 pounds this morning like me!! I am not going to cheat like that but knowing I have the extra hcg detox drops before bed really helps because it is that extra kick that I need, besides the injection. I am so happy and hopefully I stay in the 120's!!

My body loves being 131.2!! I just want back to 130 or even 129!! TOM is getting ready to start soon so maybe that is playing a part in all of this. I ate really good yesterday and didn't take extra bites of any food!! We ordered three large pizzas for the kids and I did not touch it!! My hubby ate two big slices and was down 2 pounds!! Anyways, today I had a Jay Robb protein shake for breakfast and skipped the fruit. For lunch, I am eating chicken and broccoli. ALSO, I am eating a 100 calorie bag of girl scout cookies, the Daisy Go Rounds, so that really hit the spot. I will not eat my afternoon fruit either. Tonight, I brought a steak to eat before class and that is it. Hopefully back to 130 tomorrow!!

Well I cheated on Valentines Day :) I couldn't help it! I had to give in to the chocolate that was in the house and the smores that we ate at HuHot!! It wasn't a big cheat but it was enough to make me gain 1.2 pounds. I ate two pieces of chocolates and two smores and then had some popcorn that night while we watched "I can do bad all by myself". The next day, I did an apple day. An apple day involves drinking minimal water and eating 4-6 apples. I ate 5 apples and drank some water. It only helped me lose 0.6 but at least it is a loss. My kitchen smelled great because I cut the apples up and put stevia and organic cinnamon on them and then put them in the oven on 350 degrees for 30 minutes. It felt good to eat something HOT!! My husband is also doing the diet and ate nothing but apples but for dinner he ate a mac snack wrap and a medium order of fries and he was done 0.6 as well!! No fair!! Hopefully I will be back on track now!!

Well I am the same today that I was yesterday. However, I am not hungry today!! For the first time I am not hungry, which is great. HCG is a natural appetite suppressant and you are not supposed to feel hungry. If you do feel hungry, then you are burning muscle instead of fat. The problem with my injections is that my husband picked them up but left them in the car all day and did not refrigerate them. It was cold that day though (about 20 degrees) but I still believe that took away their potency. Yesterday, I used one of his injections that were not left out and today I am not hungry at all!! I am going to use one of his about once every three days (since it stays in my system) and then maybe use the hcg drops that I bought as well to help with the hunger.
Today, I tried a new dish!! Last night, I put 4 large frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts into my crock pot and poured a whole jar of salsa over them and seasoned it with some organic seasonings. I left it all in there for 10 hours and it is delicious!! The chicken is falling apart on my fork and the salsa seasoned it just right!! If only I had some rice to go with it! Tonight, I am going to eat a steak and some broccoli and experiment with some more recipes!!

Today I am down 2 ounces which is great. I am still not back to my lowest of 130.2 that I had on Day #9 but oh well. I have been sick so I am sure all of the cold medication is effecting my HCG that is in my system. Also, today when I gave myself my injection, my stomach bled a little bit and a little bump raised up! It went away though after an hour. I hope it doesn't happen tomorrow. Today I had my apple slices for breakfast and then one cup of chili again for lunch. I put my wheat tortilla in the toaster oven again and made crispy chips!

Tonight I am going to eat 4 eggs (one yolk, three egg whites) with tomatoes, green chilies, and onions. I wish I had some spinach for it too! We are going out to eat for Valentines Day so I am trying to figure out who serves steak and veggies!!

Yesterday I was happy because I was even closer to the 120's but just when I get close, I am back up 6 ounces. They only thing that I did differently yesterday was eat a serving of melba toast and one wheat tortilla. I need to choose one or the other and that is what I am doing today. I am going to eat a wheat tortilla and put it in the toaster oven and make it into crispy chips!! I love them. I brought chili for lunch and tonight I am going to eat a mesquite grilled chicken breast with a salad.

Well today I am down four ounces and I will take it!! Inching my way down to the 120's that I used to be at! I watched Celebrity Fit Club last night and they had a former Baywatch girl on there that is 5'2 like me and weighed 130 pounds and was trying to lose weight. She is normally 99 pounds. It amazed me though because she is wearing a size 12 and I wear a size 6 and we are the same weight and height!! Maybe it is all of my years of weight lifting that helped tone me up. Now if my stomach will keep toning up then I will be happy! Today I am drinking lots of coffee for breakfast. I brought my chili (without beans) for lunch, just one cup. I am also going to eat a wheat tortilla with it which is technically off of protocol but is only 100 calories. For dinner, I am going to have a grilled chicken breast with a salad. My fruit today is going to be an apple in the morning and a half of a grapefruit for tonight. I did end up eating my second fruit yesterday and it was an orange. I have heard that people do not lose as much when they eat oranges but it was delicious!!

Well I am again 131. I am glad that the weekend is over because little "bites" that I pop in my mouth must have added up!! I did pop "one" cheeto in my mouth when I was making the boys their lunches. Today I drank a big cup of coffee for breakfast. It held me over until 10 a.m. and then I had two bags of my sliced apples from Sam's. For lunch, I brought one cup of my chili. It consists of ground sirloin beef (97% fat free), fresh tomatoes, and chilis. It was delicious. I ate 4 round melba toasts with it, which is a serving. Tonight, I am eating 3 oz of fajita chicken meat, one-half of a wheat tortilla, and salad with ranch spritzer dressing. I am skipping my fruit tonight so lets see if the scale moves tomorrow!!

Well I am the same weight today which is okay. I know that my losses will be small since I don't have a lot to lose but I was really hoping for 130 today!! I ate good yesterday and today as well. My boys wanted McDonalds and it smelled delicious but I didn't eat any of it. I REALLY wanted some though! I ate half of a grapefruit for breakfast and used a packet of splenda on it. I grabbed my water and we headed out to the grocery stores again :) We went to Sams and I bought my santa fe wheat tortillas that aren't exactly on the protocol but have really good numbers. We bought some more broccoli, cucumbers, and apples. We then went to Wal-Mart and I bought a coffee maker so that I will have one at home. I used to not be a coffee drinker but coffee really helps me in the morning!! It is on protocol and tastes delicious with some splenda and stevia in it. For lunch today, I ate a mesquite grilled chicken breast (from Sam's) with some broccoli. I am going to make chili tonight for dinner and eat some of my melba toast with it. I am going to try to skip my second fruit if I can :) My stomach has been upset today and I don't know if it is the new coffee I made or just the diet change.

Now time to drink more water!!

I am down almost half of a pound today!! Just two pounds away from the 120's and it has been a long time since I have seen those. I hope it continues. It seems like a dream come true that the weight is coming off so fast!! I am still fighting the emotional hunger but only when I am sitting around the house :) Today I ate my apple around 10 a.m. and then we went grocery shopping. We went to Dillions and Harter House and found some great deals! Tomorrow we are going to Sams Club to get some of the Santa Fe wheat tortillas for me and my co-worker who is also doing the diet. I am hooked on my melba toast and bought some more at the Harter House. My hubby wasn't thrilled with them so that means more for me!! For lunch, I had chicken fajita meat and a salad with my balsamic vinegar spray dressing. Tonight, I am going to have one of my filet mignon steaks without the delicious bacon wrapped around it. I am going to eat broccoli with it and then tonight I am going to drink one of my protein cappacinos instead of my second fruit.

We bought lots of apples, strawberries, and grapefruit so that we have plenty of fruit. Our losses have been smaller due to eating oranges so we are going to switch it up. (Both hubby and I are doing the diet).

Maybe 129 tomorrow??

Okay, I am now on my fifth day of the very low calorie diet (VLCD) and today my loss was not as big. I only lost 0.2 lbs this morning. However, so far this week I have lost 4 pounds total which I could have never done in a week!! Once my body gets around 130-131, it NEVER wants to go down into the 120's. But, I am going to get there with my hcg injections and my diet. I brought some apple slices to eat for breakfast and my favorite dish for lunch of steamed broccoli and 4 oz of fajita chicken. For dinner I think I will have one of the steaks that I cooked last night. I was bad about drinking my water yesterday and I know that contributed to my small weight loss. It is so important to drink 8-10 glasses of water every day on this diet, or any diet for that matter!! I am learning more about my hcg diet every day and this weekend I am going to start making some of the recipes out of the hcg diet recipe book. One of my co-workers made the barbecue sauce and it smells delicious!!

Today I lost 1.2 pounds and I am so happy!! I weighed early in the morning before work and then did my shot right away. It had been stinging a little so I read on the hcg diet forums to put the shot under your armpit for about 10 minutes to warm it up because it is the cold hcg that makes it sting. When I did this, it did not sting at all so I was happy!! For breakfast, I had coffee and my water. I am not normally a coffee drinker but the coffee with splenda or stevia does a great job of keeping me full! For my morning fruit, I had my two bags of apple slices. For lunch I had 4 oz's of fajita chicken meat and 1 cup of broccoli. I am in love with steamed broccoli! With the right seasonings, it can be very good. I like it tender as well. Since I had class that night, I went to the salad bar at Dillions and got a salad, just spinach leaves and cucumbers, and 4 oz of fresh chicken. I could not even eat it all. For my second fruit, I had an orange. I am so happy with my progress so far!

I feel great today. I swear that a side effect of the HCG injections is increased focus and attention. I did two graduate assignments last night and had complete focus. It is amazing how a good diet can make you feel really good. I felt horrible during my load days after eating all of those Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Today I am drinking my coffee for breakfast with chocolate stevia drops in it. It is delicious. I am also drinking my water. I brought a 4 oz chicken breast and broccoli for lunch which is on the protocol. Tonight I have class so I am going to stop at the salad bar at Dillions and get a salad with chicken and vinegar for the dressing. Mixing vegetables is not on the protocol but I am going to add a few slices of cucumbers and cherry tomotoes. I get my fruit tonight so I am excited. I have apple slices for lunch and I will eat an orange for dinner. I feel good that I have lost all of the loading weight already!! Just wait, 120's here I come. Only 2.8 pounds away!!

VLCD Day 2

That dreaded 135 is back on my scale. I hate that number. I finally was back down to 132 but the loading days put me back up. Oh well, I know that it will come off fast with my VLCD and hcg injections. I can't wait!! Today I drank coffee and water for breakfast. Then for lunch, I had what I thought was beef sirloin roast until a co-worker pointed out that it was pork sirloin roast. Pork is not on the protocol!! I looked it up and it was 173 calories and 8 grams of fat for 3 ounces. Luckily it still only put me at 350 calories for the day so I have 150 calories left for dinner and I will skip my second fruit tonight. Since I am so early into my VLCD, it should not hurt me with the higher fat content. For dinner, I am thinking of having eggs (one egg and three egg whites) or a chicken breast. I need to look at the rest of my meats and make sure that they are not pork!! I always thought that beef steaks were higher in fat but I guess not :( Anyways, I am excited to weigh in tomorrow and see where I am at. I have drank all 8 glasses of water today so that is a great thing!

VLCD Day 1

Today was the first day of my VLCD (very low calorie diet) of 500 calories. My hcg injection went well this morning. I didn't even know it was in my skin until I looked down. I am giving the injections in my stomach because I have the most fat there. It felt very different today to not eat as much. I wasn't hungry but I kept thinking that I needed to eat something. For breakfast, I followed the protocol and only had coffee with some English Toffee stevia in it. I also hit my water very hard and drank that. For lunch I had a 4 oz mesquite grilled chicken breast from Sam's and a salad with Balsamic Vinagrette spray dressing. I didn't realize that the spray had oil in it, which I cannot have, or high fructose corn syrup. I only put 5 sprays on my salad. I also had half of an apple because I could not bring myself to eat an entire apple. I bought the presliced apples in baggies from Sam's. For dinner, I had a 4 oz beef sirloin tip with steamed broccolli. It was so good that I wiped the plate clean!! Tonight, I will have my orange and that is it. I am right at 500 calories according to my Loseit app on my Iphone. I am going to weigh in tomorrow and see what I am after loading two days and then one day of the VLCD!!
